Comment : Pretty good desserts in general, especially the 楊枝甘露 with a lot of mangos. One of my favourite dessert places in HK so far.

Mango Pancake

黑糖綿花冰
- not bad

Tofu ice cream with mango pudding
- pretty good =)

楊枝甘露
- never seen a 楊枝甘露 with so much mango. the bottom of this bowl was filled with mango.

Su Casa Chilean Oyster Bar

Location : 銅鑼灣新會道2號2樓
2/F, No.2 Sun Wui Road, Causeway Bay
Rate : 9/10
Price : $200-300/person
Comment : Portions look a bit small, but it's surprisingly quite filling. This is my second time coming - love their black truffle risotto and duck liver linguine! Food in general is pretty good, just a bit over-priced. Would definitely recommend this place !!

Seafood Platter
- nice =)
- big clams
- 2 kinds of oysters (2 each)
- the original platter should be 2 whelks with 2 glasses of white wine, but we didn't want the wine so we substitute for 2 more whelks.

薯蓉焗田螺 Escargot with mashed potato
- nice, though nothing special

黑松露意大利飯 Risotto with black truffle
- highly recommended !!
- yumm =)

鴨肝野菌扁意粉 Linguine with duck liver and wild mushroom
- highly recommended !!
- delicious !!

Spaghetti with clams and basil olive oil
- quite nice. the manila clams were quite fat =)

6P032, Level 6, Sky Plaza, Terminal 2, Hong Kong International Airport
Rate : 5/10

Comment : Not that great. Didn't like the plain thin noodles. The dumplings were so-so, nothing special. Highly unlikely to go there again.

Awfully Chocolate

Location : 銅鑼灣禮頓道125號地下
G/F, 125 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay
Rate : 6/10
Price : $264
Comment : The cupcake and butterscotch cake is temporarily only available at the Leighton store (though now moved to another location: 銅鑼灣希慎道2-4號蟾宮大廈地下15號舖 Shop 15, G/F, Empire Court, 2-4 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay). Not really my type of cakes - way too much creamy and then just sponge cake. I still prefer their chocolate ice cream more.

White chocolate cupcake - $28
- too creamy and also too much cream compared to cake

Butterscotch - $38
- too creamy, too sweet

All chocolate cake - $198
- rich chocolate flavour, but other than that nothing special to me

Location : 天后銀幕街16號地庫
Basement, 16 Ngan Mok Street, Tin Hau
Rate : 7/10
Price : $150-200
Comment : Was alright, not bad. Just really don't like the clam-like thing. Would probably go again to try other dishes.

"See um"
- can't stand these. WAY too "fishy" (鯹) and WAY too salty too
- i wanna try them cooked and hot.

鹵水鵝片
- pretty good

 川椒雞球
- typical, nothing special

方魚碎肉粥
- yum =) quite a big bowl

Le Salon De Thé de Joel Robochun

Location : 中環德輔道中12-16號置地廣場315號舖
Shop 315, 3/F, The Landmark, 16 Des Voeux Road Central, Central
Rate : 5/10
Price : $255 + 10% s.c. (Pastries Set for 2)
Comment : Very disappointed with the whole experience. Really wanted to try this place after seeing the photos from a magazine, so ordered the High Tea Set for 2 with both sandwiches and pastries but they didn't have any sandwiches left. Their afternoon tea is 3-6pm and I went at 4:30pm, so got really annoyed/disappointed when they told me all sandwiches were sold out. But oh well, tried their Pastries Set for 2 instead. Waited for about 15+ minutes for the scones (the first dish) to finally come. The place was extremely cold, the air conditioning was just ridiculous, I felt like I was sitting in a fridge. Finished the scones and the drink came too. Ordered a mocha and it wasn't even hot - no steam at all! and waited another 15 minutes till I finally couldn't stand it anymore and asked why it was taking so long. Turns out they totally forgot about us. So they finally gave us the pastries and my drink was already cold by then. Tried their cakes, some were pretty good while others were nothing special. Extremely small portion for 2 people - definitely NOT worth it, though I do give credit for their presentation. I still want to try their sandwiches, but highly unlikely that I would actually sit down for another afternoon tea.

Scones
- nothing special

Mocha
- waited so long for this and it wasn't even hot !!
- tasted like normal coffee, couldn't really taste any chocolate

Tea
- the tea pot was heavy and quite a stupid design (at least it wasn't user-friendly)
- it was so hard to pour the tea out

Pastries
- looks a lot better than it actually tastes
- the mini macarons looked quite nice, but didn't taste good at all. the texture was too dry like it was placed aside for too long.
- nothing too special.

G/F, 60 Soy Street,, Mong Kok
Rate : 5/10
Price : $25-$40/dessert
Comment : This place seems to be getting worse every year. Not only is the food quality a lot worse, but the portions keep getting smaller. Quite disappointing; I used to like going to this place but not anymore.

XO蘿蔔糕
- it used to be very good with a lot of ingredients but now it's just bad
- not hot enough
- flavour is not appealing
- too much flour making the 蘿蔔糕 too stiff (i.e. not enough turnip)

餃子
- not hot enough
- poorly fried
- the filling was too soft

多芒西米撈
- a lot less mango than there used to be. don't think it can be called 多芒 anymore
- looks like a smaller portion than it used to be a few years ago

是日特價鴛鴦小丸子 (芒果/西瓜底)
- it was alright, but nothing special

雜果
- portion too small

** 丼吉日本吉列專門店餐廳 Tonkichi Tonkatsu Seafood **

Location : 尖沙咀廣東道100號彩星集團大廈B樓B室
G/F, 100 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
Rate : 10/10
Price : $200-$250/person
Comment : Very delicious dinner, would definitely go again. Everything was good - can't think of anything I can pick on. The batter was very nice. crispy and it wasn't thick. Meat was tender and juicy and surprisingly not dry. I'm usually not very fond of oysters, but I really liked this one. Prawns were nice - it was actually a whole piece of prawn unlike some places where they have a tiny piece of non-fresh meat and cover it up with a big layer of batter. They had 2 choices of salad dressing and one of the sauce was slightly sour which is good considering the amount of oil you're eating. The salad and rice were all-you-can-eat. While you wait for the food you can play around with the sesame and grind it yourself to make your own sauce.

Pork loin
- tender and juicy
Pork fillet
- very thin yet the meat was not dry.
Oysters
- nice and big
Prawns
- very nice

長洲小食

Location : 長洲

Taro cake - $6
- not that good
- not very fresh

Big fish balls
- pretty good, tasted like typical ones just larger in size

Spiral chips
- yum =)
- get to sprinkle your own flavoured powder

Frozen fruit
- nice and refreshing on a hot day

平安包 "Peace bread" (ice cream)
- chocolate with peanuts flavoured
- ice cream was alright but don't like the combination with the wrapping
- don't bother buying, waste of money

Mango ice cream
- really don't like the wrapping
