Comment : Not bad. Quite a small place though. Dessert choices could be better improved. In terms of seafood, I guess it does have quite a bit of variety. Almost everything was kind of typical, nothing special, but I really liked the small chocolate mousse dessert with crispy bits inside. 

- lobster was alright, pretty nice.  

- 琵琶蝦 was nothing special. the meat was a bit bland

- oyster was a bit small, opened on request, but a bit too much salt water taste 

- 3 different types of smoked salmon (pacific, atlantic, norwegian), though forgot which is which 

- indian food. it was alright 

- the little dessert on the top right was pretty good. it was like a small piece of hazelnut-flavoured chocolate mousse with crispy bits of wafer, also with a dab of raspberry jam on top.

BLT Steak

Price : about $150

Comment : Only had the "Salads, Appetizers, & Desserts" without any burgers or steaks. Quite a decent meal considering it's price. They had parma ham and one or two more kinds of dried ham. A main course of parma ham & melon at Spasso (another restaurant at Harbour City) is already about $120, so I think this restaurant should be quite worth it. It would be better if there were more hot dishes though, since almost everything is cold. Quality was not bad.

Comment : Pretty bad meal. The bruschetta was terrible and didn't really taste like bruschetta either. The main course was pretty weird (in a bad way), in terms of its food combination and also the taste. Last time I came, their smoked salmon tasted really weird and I thought maybe it was just that bad day; but now I think they just have pretty bad smoked salmon in general. 

Bruschetta ?

- tasted like it was prepared a while ago

- the oil already soaked into the bread thoroughly making the texture so moist and disgusting

- didn't really taste like the typical bruschetta

- just a bad dish

Smoked salmon and black truffle pita

- the smoked salmon tasted really weird

- the pita also had a weird taste with the so-called black truffle. 

- i didn't think a pita would be eaten like this either. I thought the ingredients would be stuck into the pita -_-''

Cold lemon water

- i can't believe they earn money from such a thing -_-'' 

- don't really like the way the lemon is given. it's easier to squeeze out the juice but just makes it messier

蘭芳園 Lan Fong Yuen

Comment : If you go to the mall where this place is located, you probably won't believe there would such a place because it really doesn't match with the rest of the shops. Although not necessarily healthy, but quite a good meal. I guess this place is quite unique and their 撈丁 ("mix instant noodle") is also something not commonly found in other 茶餐廳. The taste was a bit strong, too salty, but overall not bad i guess. Would also be better if the dish was hotter. 



Hot Chocolate

五香肉丁+瑞士雞翼 撈丁

- a bit too salty, everything had such strong flavour except the veggies.

- ignoring the looks, this was a pretty good dish in terms of attracting people to eat it. 



韓食家 Baab Korean Casual Dining

Comment : Bad.

Ordered a bibimbap (stone bowl rice) - not the typical ingredients you see in other restaurants with majority of it really soft rice - disgusting. There was only small bits of vegetables and I don't recall having much meat in it, if it had any. They didn't even add or provide the red spicy sauce for it, so it was almost tasteless. I asked for the sauce, and it came out to be this really really thick paste that looked as though it was squeezed out of the bottle for a very long time. Also ordered a Korean vermicelli (炒粉絲), disappointing again. There was almost no sesame flavour in it. Bland. Not much ingredients in it. Lastly, ordered korean rice cakes. It was actually not that bad, but nothing special about it. And after the two previous bad dishes, we didn't even want to eat it anymore.

Comment : Would NOT go again. crappy food. I guess most people would probably say not much you could expect considering the cheap price. I would agree in a way but also disagree since I am still paying them money so I should be getting decent food. A restaurant that can not serve good food does not deserve to stay in this world.

- looks bad

- tastes bad 

- you can tell they didn't even bother putting any effort into make it look nice.

- tastes so-so

- the deep-frying of the tempura shrimp and soft shell crab wasn't good enough.

翠華餐廳 Tsui Wah Restaurant

Comment : Nice! Would definitely go again. It's a generally more expensive 茶餐廳 probably since it's all franchised now; but I still like the place, especially the 奶油豬仔包 ! quite a lot of variety to choose from too.

- love 魚片頭

- the 豬軟骨 could be softer, not tender enough. 

Cold Ovaltine

- something I usually order at 茶餐廳

Pork bun with condensed milk and butter

- my favourite !! 

- the texture of the bread was perfect

Comment : not good. felt a bit ripped off. wasn't made fresh. salad tasted bad

MOS Burger

Comment : didn't like it. the bread was nice and soft, but the beef inside was way too "so" (meaty-smell) couldn't stand to take a second bite.

壽司處今村 Sushi Imamura

Comment : Very decent food, very expensive too. Pretty good quality. At first I thought the amount of food would be too little, but realized as the dishes slowly came it was actually quite filling. Though still a bit over-priced to me, especially the appetizers. I really don't like restaurants that charge you for appetizers without letting you know ahead. 

Appetizer

- left : seaweed-like jelly soaked in vinegar - so-so

- middle : not sure what it is. but not bad I guess. 

- right : seaweed on the side - not too good; and forgot what the other dish was

- pretty good.

- the whelk was nicely marinated. 

Sashimi

- pretty good

- the scallop was kind of interesting. the texture was different from the typical ones. it had a very slightly crispy texture.

Fish head

- liked the sauce since it was a bit sweet

- meat was tender and well marinated

Fish tail ? 

- don't quite remember eating this. probably cause nothing special about it

Tempura 

- good, would be better if had slightly bit more of other vegetables 

Sushi

- very well made

- surprisingly the fish on the right did not have the fishy taste. texture was quite chewy.

- not bad. though a bit plain

- nice
